HI EVERYONE, JUST LETTING YOU ALL KNOW THAT FINALLY MY BOWELS ARE MOVING. I WAS GIVEN WATER TO DRINK IN LITTLE SIPS TO MAKE SURE THAT I CAN TOLERATE IT. MY BACK PAIM IS GONE THANK GOODNESS. THAT HURT WORSE THAN THE SURGERY,HA! WILL ANY LUCK I'LL BE ABLE TO GO HOME ON FRIDAY. I'M FEELING REALLY GOOD AND WALKING AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. SHORANDA AND REGINA FROM THE SUPPORT GROUP HAVE COME TO SEE ME. ANGIE IS HERE NOW AND IS HAVING HER SURGERY HERE AT FT. BENNING TOMORROW MORNING. SO WE'RE GOING TO BE ON THE HOSPITAL AT THE SAME TIME. MY HUSBAND BROUGHT MY LAPTOP TO THE HOSPITAL TO I CAN E-MAIL EVERYONE. WILL UPDATE LATER. TAKE CARE EVERYONE!

I spoke to Colleen everyday on the phone, going to see her on Tuesday, it is a couple hour drive for me, but I can't wait to see her. She was still in ICU today (7-16)and waiting for gurgling sounds in her tummy to eat or drink. She had a few days of severe back pain, but getting better and walking alot. She may be in her own room tonight, but would rather go home and heal. Will update tomorrow.

****UNOFFICIAL ANGEL REPORTING****Colleen's True Angel--Angela--is preparing for her surgery own the 18.Soooo, I'll try my best to keep everybody up-to-date.Spoke with Colleen's hubby a couple of hours after her surgery. The wonderful man called me at work to let me know she is doing great and the surgery went well. She's gonna be in ICU until Monday(just a precaution for military hospitals). She's got her "happy meds"--morphine drip so I'm sure she doesn't feel a thing!!LOL I hope to see her Monday afternoon!!! "Sending a prayer for a speedy and uneventful recovery"....

The big day is almost here. I will be thinking of you all this week. Don't forget, if you need anything just give me a call. Take good mental notes for me.LOL I'm 22 days behind ya!! You will be in my prayers.
