Dear Peggy~~~~Your new photo is great and your success has been remarkable. Keep strong. I recently joined Curves and I enjoy it---that's the only reason I could think of when I went out into 100 degree weather to get there. Be well, be happy, be blessed.

Greetings everybody. Isn't it grand to see Lori posting again? She was a real trooper. I wanted to give you an update on myself. Today I saw a gastroenterologist. This is the protocol after you are 3 months post surgery. Well, I am almost 7 months post Lap RNY. I have lost 105 pounds. I have been feeling great. Well, here is my follow-up care. I was told to stop taking Flinstones chewables and the Dr. gave me a prescription for prenatal vitamins. I got a B-12 shot and will be getting them every 3 months. I now have to take Citracal with Vit. D. 3 times a day and zinc lozenges 3 times a day. This protocol is used for all patients. They also made 2 recommendations. First - even though I exercize daily, they want me to do weight resistance training. Secondly, after I told the Dr. and nutritionist that I like to snack on soy nuts, I got a lecture on not snacking for the sake of snacking. The potential is that it could lead to old habits. The point was well taken. Overall, I think that I will like this Dr. and feel that I am in good hands. Also...I went to Super K today. BOUGHT A TANKINI. 16 top and 14 bottom. What a thrill it was to not look for 2 or 3x. I am extremely happy with my new self. I am beginning to enjoy this skin that I live in.

Post Lap RNY 11/28/01 - down 104 pounds. I am so enjoying this fantastic journey. Sometimes when I wake in the morning I feel for my rib cage and my hips to make sure this all hasn't been a dream. While it hasn't always been easy, it has been worth it all. I am forever grateful to this site and to all the wonderful people I have met. Yours in WLS.......................
