Good Evening Everyone, Well Deb could really use some words of encouragement right now. She has now been told that she has pneumonia. I feel so bad for her. This has really been rough for her. It is hard enough going thru this surgery without all the added complications she has experienced. Please post get well wishes to her page as I am going to try to get to the hospital tomorrow. Thanks!!!

(ANGEL ALERT) DEBRA IS DOING BETTER TODAY. SHE SLEPT GOOD LAST NITE AFTER A SEDITIVE. GOT SOME ICE CHIPS TODAY, A FEW OF THEM. SHE IS SO THIRSTY, AND VERY TIRED. SHE GOT UP TODAY AND WALK ABOUT. THE PAIN IS BETTER TODAY, AROUND A 7 FROM 1-10. SHE SOUNDED BETTER . I HOPE TOMORROW SHE WILL FEEL ALOT BETTER. WE WILL KEEP PRAYING FOR YOU DEBRA. SOON YOU WILL BE HOME. Hi everyone, I just spoke to Deb and she is having a rough time of it.She was taken off the morphine pump due to her asthma and has been given a non-narcotic pain killer. It really isn't helping much and she is in alot of pain. She took a 10 minute walk this morning but it was difficult because she has been having a hard time breathing not to mention the pain.She still has not been given ice chips or water, boy after going thru this she will be able to handle anything!! Deb we are all praying for you and I know that by this time tomorrow you will be doing much better.

Debra, I hear your heart rate is high. Is it possible that you are allergic to Heparin? I know of someone else who had an allergic reaction to Heparin and had her heart rate going off of the chart. I don't know where you are in the surgery recovery process - but could this be a consideration? Check it out with your doctor. Best of luck - and my prayers, Mary Hitt

Debra, My prayers are with you. I know it is frightening when your heart beats fast. Just remember you went through major surgery and it could be just a way for it to catch up with all that has happened to you. Try not to worry over much because that will increase the heart rate. Trust in your doctor and know that we are all here thinking of you.

Debra, People on site here all believe your wellness is a matter of time and your personal courage and strength will see you through this bumpy part.
