Good morning to all my AMOS FAMILY. My 1 year anniversary from lap rny is on JUNE 12TH.... I cannot believe that is has already been one year. I AM DOWN 120LBS SOOOO FAR AND I FEEL GREAT. It has been a life changing event. I feel like my old self. I am working out at least 5xs a week.I NOW HAVE THE ENERGY TO DO THINGS THAT I ENJOY.The first 2wk not fun. But it is like having a baby you forget about the pain. It is so worth it. Just think that next summer you will feel so much better and happier and the pain and depression will be gone. I am again ready for angel duty if you need me let me know. I would love to hear from all you post and pre ops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOD BLESS.

Hello All! Today is my four month anniversary and I just came home from Jazzercise! I feel like a new person I am dow 70 lbs and have much more energy! This has been the best thing that I have done FOR MYSELF!!! To all of you Pre and Post OP's you are in my thoughts. Hang in there!!!! There is light at the end of the tunnel!!!!!! Does anybody need an angel? Let me know!

Well I am almost 2 weeks Post Op. I just got home from the Dr and he took the drain out of my side! I feel like a new person. I just want to thank you all for the support you have given me over the last 8 months. I even have family members hooked on this site. I have lost 18lbs!!!!!! I am very happy with that and I will see the Dr in 3 weeks for another check up. Now that I have this drain out I can sit at the computer. Would be happy to talk to anybody who needs a pep talk. Thanks Again !

*****ANGEL REPORT*****ANGEL REPORT***** I spoke w/Laura this evening (thursday) and she is feeling much better!!! She had her leak test today and everthing went fine!!!! They took her IV's and staples out today. She was able to have ice chips and she will probably go home Friday!!! YEAH LAURA!!!!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!!!! Laura wanted me to THANK EVERYONE on this site for being so supportive. Also THANK YOU for your prayers. TRACY - Laura has been worried about you. She knew you were having some problems. She would like to hear from you if at all possible. Again,THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!!

*****ANGEL SWEEPING IN WITH UPDATE***** I spoke w/Laura a few minutes ago, she did not sleep well last night. She is having problems w/the morophine. It is lowering her BP. Also, they have not had her up to walk! It's been 24 hrs! The poor thing, her feet and hands are swelling. Please continue to keep Laura in your prayers!!! THIS IS MY FIRST ANGEL ASSIGNMENT, I HOPE I'M DOING THIS RIGHT! Laura's cousin e-mailed and said she couldn't find my posting from last evening. ? THANK YOU FOR ALL YOURS PRAYERS AND NOTES OF ENCOURAGEMENT!! Kimberly ^j^

*****ANGEL ALERT*****ANGEL ALERT*****ANGEL ALERT** I just spoke w/Laura! Everything went well. She is finally in a room, she spent 8 hrs in recovery waiting for a room!! Poor thing! Thank you for all your prayers and support. Laura was able to have the Lap!!!!!! She said the morophine pump is wonderful!!!! Way to go Laura!!!!!!! I will check in w/her tomorrow (wednesday) and fill you in more! Kimberly ^j^

Hi Laura! May God hold you in His tender care the rest of today and your evening. I pray for a peace to be upon you, about your fear for leaving your children. I think as parents we all fear that. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!! In less than 24 hrs you will be "ON THE OTHER SIDE!!!" Kimberly ^j^
