Well, exactly 1 week from today is my surgery. 7 days!!! I'm getting very excited now. Everyday is different. One day I'm scared and the next day I'm excited. My weight has really been bothering me lately and I can't wait to take some of it off. Wish me luck and I could use a ton of prayers at 11:00am Dec. 10th. Thank you!!

Hi Debi, I hope your surgery goes well Monday. I have been waiting for 3 1/2 months for you turn. I am like you, I am so impressed with St.Vincent hospital. You will also find in your nutrition class how well prepared their program is. Good luck and I'll see you in the halls....God Bless

Debi, I have the same surgery date as you although I'll be in NJ. I'm scared, too. I try not to dwell on what might happen and concentrate on positive things. That usually does the trick, but I've found myself very anxious and short tempered with my family and I think its all my fears coming out. So you are not alone. From all I've read on here, we'd be abnormal if we didn't have such fears. I guess just about everyone does. I can't say I'm excited about the actual surgery...just excited by the prospect of how it is going to change my life. Right now, I just want it over and done with. God bless and I wish you the best of luck for a safe surgery and a smooth recovery.

Debra, I just wanted to wish you good luck on your upcoming surgery! My surgery is scheduled for Dec 4 in Ann Arbor MI. I live close to you and work in Berne,IN. So we could give each other moral support after we have crossed over.
