Angel update! I just spoke with Jaimie. She made it through surgery on Monday but started as a lap and finished as an open. So she is a little upset about that. AND she woke up with a tube down her throat that she was not expecting. She gets to go for her leak test tomorrow but may not go home until Monday!!! Please wish her the best and a speedy recovery.

Jaimie, I hope all went well for you. Time goes by fast and soon this will seem like a distant memory. Thirteen months ago I came out of the hospital after the surgery. I remember that I was wondering if I'll ever be able to eat anything of substance again. As of today I lost nearly 140lbs and I actually eat. Just relax, let your body heal and your new "tool" will soon be helping you build and shape the body you never knew you had. Believe me! Take care/God Bless

In all things Remember,that the one above loves you,that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you,that you be given strength, endurance,love,peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name. When you wake up and see the faces of your loved ones in the recovery room,know that you have made it.Thank Him,Know that you have been blessed to see and to live out the rest of your days with the ones you love and the ones who love you.....Knowing that He loves you too. My best to you Jamie as you go through your surgery and post op healing. Do remember to walk, walk, and walk some more, try to get as much water in as possible, sips do go a long way, and most of all, stay POSITIVE in thinking! All does get better, day by day, trust me!! LOL (((HUGS))
