Angel hovering. I just heard from Sue's husband. He was very sweet and returned my call. She is out of surgery and in the ICU which I think is standard. I'll check back later to make sure she's doing ok. You're on the other side now Sue and the best is yet to come.

All right, this is my first official angel act, I'm liking these wings. Sue is at the hospital having her pre-op tests right now. She has been really great leading up to this but she needs lots of support now as she enters the final stretch. Please post some encouragement for her surgery tomorrow. These last 24 hours must be the hardest. We're all rooting for you Sue, and you're going to do GREAT! Get out those boxes of old clothes cause they'll be fitting before you know it.

Best of luck on your upcoming surgery. You may question yourself right after surgery, "Why did I do this to myself?" But in a few weeks when the weight starts disappearing, you'll know! Keep active and your recovery will be quicker. Take care,

Hi Susan! I'm so sorry to hear about your mother and your situation with your 16 year old as well. You're not in this boat alone! My father had a stroke three weeks ago adn I have a 10 year old in the beginnings of adolescence. Trust me ... say a little prayer in between the craziness ... praise God for his blessings and a sane husband. That's what I do every minute of the day! I would love to be your angel, but might not be much help in the days following surgery as my surgery is 2 days after yours! But know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. God Bless!

Best Wishes, Susan! I hope everything goes well for you! I'm pre-op with Dr. O'Rourke. Have been struggling with insurance for a few months and finally got approval on 2/28. So now I have to go through the psychological & nutritionist appt. before I get a surgery date. I hope to be able to do it at the end of April (I get back from a cruise on 4/13). Hi Susan, I noted that we have the same surgery date and I wanted to wish you well as you prepare for and go through your surgery. I live in Portland, Oregon and will have my surgery at 12:30 pm. godspeed.
