Cindy I just wanted to wish you a safe and uneventful surgery with a fast recovery! I had the DS/bpd on 2-20-03 and feel GREAT!! Best thing I ever did for myself and my 8 yr old! 2003 will be a GREAT year for us with our new journey and life ahead of us!! We will never forget the path we are about to take or what brought us to this fork in the road. Angel preparing for landing! We are down to 2 days and counting. Yesterday, Friday, we saw the surgeon and met the other patient who will be having surgery the same day. The doctor put all fears at rest and gave us complete confidence in his ability and judgement. While things can always go wrong, we feel very good about everything. Mom is following a strict regiment of bathing twice daily w/ antibacterial soap and 3 different antibiotics 3x/day. She will check in Sunday evening at midnight. Surgery should be around 11:00. GO MOM!!!!
