Today is Doris' 1 year anniversary. She has lost over 120+ lbs and looks and feels great. Please send her some well wishes today. She is my best friend and supporter and she has come a long way. She never gives up and keeps on going each and everyday, giving her love and support to all who needs it. My 1 year is next month and I wouldn't be as far along with my weight without Doris and her spiritual help and all her prayers. Doris, I'm so very proud of you. Love ya, Susy.

Doris, Congrat's on your 1 year anniversary. The past year hasn't been an easy one but you've come a long way. Losing 120+lbs and moving to another state, starting over and going through RNY, all in 12 months, I don't know where you get your energy but you remind me of the Energizer bunny, you never stop. You're an inspiration to me and several of your AMOS family. We've both made it through this past year with each others help and support. Thanks for always being here for me and our friendship will continue to be a gift from God. Love ya, Susy

Hi All It has beeb a long time since I have posted. I have hit a plateau and so discouraged I was reading my weight loss in the begginig and it was really good. 3/12 mos I lost 75# and now I am approaching 6 mos the 18th and I have lost 94# I did leave the 200's forever. YAHOOO. But now it has slowed down to a few pounds a month. What can I do? I still hardly eat and fight nausea. Any suggestions would be helpfull? Please pray for Edna Jenkins as she was rushed to the hospital tonight with chest pains and I am worried about her. She had surgery in May and has lost over 100#. Thank you for tour help and prayers and concern. Doris Mack

Hi All it has been 3/12 mos post op 4-18-02. I am now down 75# and 8 # to go out of the 200's forever. What a day that will be. My BMI has changed drastically, and I am off all insulin and diabetic meds. Praise God. My surgeon Dr. Rorscheib has been wonderful. If your in Illinois or Missouri area he is great. My updates have all been erased I dont know why. I have only from pre- op in March left. All of you that are waiting surgery May God Bless you and keep you in his care. It is the best decision I have ever made except asking Jesus in my heart. Love, Doris
