Doris, please do not give up. My surgery was denied the first time. I am convinced they deny the first time to see who will not give up. Well I didn't and I am now approved and have a surgery date. APPEAL APPEAL APPEAL!!!! It was the best thing I did. I remember exactly how you feel. The day I got the denial letter all I could do was cry. But I picked myself back up and am on my way. I will definitely keep you in my prayers and you can e-mail me if you want with any questions. I would be happy to send you a copy of my appeal letter. Good luck!

I am pretty bummed right now. I heard from my inurance and they would not approve the surgery. I was told they would, now they denied it. My cardiologist is going to write a letter and appeal it for me. Everything is in the air right now.
