Dear Cristi - I am only 5 days post op and still quite a bit sore. The main thing I wanted to recommend to you prior to going in is to take a lot of vaseline and baby wipes - it was my life saver. I've talked to so many people who have started the bowel prep without any preparation & TLC from ourselves and it is a day or two of pure misery. I started the vaseline prior to the first dosage of that wonderful stuff and wiped only with babywipes - it was a life saver. I started to feel some pain at the end of the day but nothing like I've heard others talk about. God bless you and I'll be thinking of you during your day. May the angels surround you before, during and after surgery.
