Debra, I just called the hospital and they said you are still waiting for a room. I'll try to call back later this evening or tomorrow to check on you personally but I read Mark's post and was so glad to see that you are doing well. You are now officially on the other side and you have such an amazing journey ahead of you. Hang in there and you'll just get better and better. (Oh, I also talked to Ginger - had her surgery Thursday and is doing amazingly well - she asked about you...said to send you her best wishes as well.) Rest and take care of yourself. God bless you!

Hi everyone - this is Debra's husband Mark. Everything went extremely well, and Dr. Yates was very happy. She went in for surgery at 8:35am this morning, and came out of the operating room at 10:30am. She had her gall bladder out as well, as there were a couple of large stones. I unfortunately, have only seen her for about 10 minutes during the day, as Forest Park Hospital is very full and they are waiting for her room. When I did get to see her though, she was still a little groggy, but her color was good, her BP was good and everything else was good. I am going back to stay in the hospital with her tonight, so will be able to report more tomorrow. Thanks you for all your thoughts and prayers. Deb and I have really appreciated all the messages and support. Til tomorrow..Mark

Debra went in for surgery (Forest Park Hospital in St. Louis) this morning. I'll be checking on her progress and reporting back this afternoon. PLEASE STOP BY HER PAGE AND BLESS HER AS SHE TAKES THIS BIG STEP. Debra, I've been praying all morning and you are in "good hands". Have faith and hang in there; you are going to do great!
