HELLO EVERYONE! I'm on the "OTHER SIDE" and I feel GREAT! I came home from the hospital earlier this morning and am taking it easy right not. It's really amazing what I am able to eat. 2 ounces of fluid every hour. I'M FULL!!! The only pain that I have been having trouble with is gas. But, walking helps! The best thing you can do is get up and walk asap! Thanks to everyone for the support and warm wishes. I wish that everyone has a great surgery as well! Tricia

((((Sweetie))))), Wow before you know it you will be on the otherside and losing weight......I will keep you in my prayers......You will do fine.....don't forget to walk, walk, walk as soon as you can....My nurses never suggested to me to get up...they just said the doctor wanted me to walk before I left....but I remembered people on the site saying walk, walk, walk and as soon as they took out my catheter(sp) and I got in my room I grabbed my pillow, my trustie morphine pump friend and my Moma and down and around the nurses station I went.....I did that 3 times a day.....It takes alot to make yourself go but you can do it....just be determined...My doc said that is one reason I did so well....Determination!!!
