Karen, hang in there and just be thankful they found the leak and didn't have to open you back up a few days from now. You will be extra sore due to the length of your surgery and all the rearanging of things while they worked. I promise you, your feelings of doubt are perfectly normal. The next 4-6 weeks will be the hardest while you get use to the new you and the scar heals. Just remember each day gets better. good luck and hang in there.

Just wanted to say that Karen had a pretty rough time during her surgery. She ended up getting a leak and they found it before she come out of surgery. Her surgery was 8 hr and 10min. Karen has a bad back and I know this is one of the things that has bothered her. Please send her well wishes. She has been having regrets now. I hope this is only normal. I have my surgery on Monday and will update Karen more when I get home and doing well. So for now all, Please send Karen some well wishes. Thanks, Annette

ANGEL REPORT: I just wanted to let you know Karen presently is in surgery. I am 5 hours from the hospital and plan to go and see her tomorrow morning while I have my pre op. I will call tonight and talk to Karen's husband and try and get an update. She emailed me yesterday and is very emotional and nervous. Please take a minute and post a quick not to her surgery page and let her know she is being thought of and that we are all praying for her.... Thanks, Annette
