Melissa, As a person that is having WLS three days after you I asked myself what whould I want to hear this close to my surgery. I would want to hear that I am being prayed for and that my decision is the right one. I pray that your recovery will be fast and beyond your hopes. I ask that God watch over you and bring your through safely to the other side. Walk, cough and breathe deep as you being your new life. You are making the right choice to make a new life for yourself. God Bless you.

Hi all you happy people!!! I just wanted to pop in and say thank-you very much to all of the people who reached out and sent emails. My pre-op tests went really well and I am good to go for surgury on the 15th. Thanks again everyone, I am soooo ready for this!! Melissa Jilek

Melissa, I'm wishing you a successful, complication free surgery and a quick, smooth recovery. I had my open RNY on Dec. 10, 2001 and I have absolutely NO regrets other than not having done it several years ago. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you start your new healthier life.

Well, I have my pre-op testing tomorow and if all goes well, my open rny will be on the 15th. Do any of you have a problem with your family bringing food to you constantly? I feel like I am eating like a death row inmate.heeeeheee Just think, all of you pre and post-ops, NO MORE DIETS!!! Or better yet, NO MORE FAILED DIETS!!!! Wish me luck on my tests, and God bless each of you! Melissa
