Kelly, I too have some of the same feelings you do, but once I got my surgery date scheduled finally, a whole new feeling has come over me. It is one of contentment. I am happier than I have been in a long time, I know thing are going to work out fine. Yes there will be plenty of struggles, but I think of all the hoops I had to jump through to get this far. I was worried about writing letters to my family, but I know I'm going to be here after surgery, so why take that time, and added stress? Have faith in yourself and God, and you will be fine. I am going this morning for my pre-op testing, and will have my surgery on July 16th. After all, what could be worse than living with your co-morbidites for as long as you probably have. My body has toted around more than double my ideal weight for 15 to 20 years. Can't wait to see you on the other side. Lisa
