This is Judith's angel with an update. I have been trying to get in touch with Judith since Friday. I just received a call from her friend John that she had to go back into the hospital on 5/1 due to an infection. If anyone would like to call her she is at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles, room 5918. She will probably be there through tomorrow. Please say a prayer that Judith gets over this bump in the road very quickly. Thanks everyone. ~Cheryl

Judith, the pain in your shoulder is likely GAS trapped in there from surgery. Seems to be a common place to go. I wonder if Pepcid would help??? I had surgery on 4/21, as well, and am having a terrible time sleeping at night, too. Ventured out today to get some things at Kmart -- BIG MISTAKE. I immediately felt light-headed and in a daze. Don't do what I did! :) Hope you feel better very soon. Write me when you can and we'll compare notes! ~ Susan Open RNY 4/21/03

This is Judith's angel reporting in. I talked to her last night and she's still not feeling so hot. She's had pain in her shoulder since the day after surgery. She is also having problems sleeping, since she in unable to lay comfortbly in her bed (or anywhere). I told her it will get better in a week or so. She's threatened to come after me if it doesn't. I'm pretty sure she's kidding. {nervous laugh}. Please post her some words of encouragement on her surgery page. Thanks!
