I have gotten a date for surgery on May 7th! I will go for pre-opt testing on April 29th. Yeah!

I had my first visit with Dr.Cook today and was still as impressed with him as I was in the informational meeting when I first met him. He is very upfront and I have trust in him and that means everything. I am now waiting for insurance approval and then THE DATE !

I would love to hear from anyone in any step of this program. I have just gotten started. I have turned in my packet have an appointment with Dr. Cook set up April 2nd. Have any of you had family and friends think you are just taking the easy way out? If so what is an informative way to respond to them ? I am ready to hear any advice and personal experiences.
