Hi there I have good news and kinda sad news. My pre op testing was completed om April 1st. All testes went well. My dr ordered chest x-ray, upper GI, ultrasound of abdomen, Pulminary function test, Blood gasses (ouch!), EKG, bloodwork, a history with nurse practioner, and a meeting with the anesthesia. All in all the day went pretty fast. I started at 7:30am and was on my way home by 12:45. Here is the not so good news. The day after these tests I recieved a call from Dr. Von Reuden's office telling me that there was a operating room scheduling problem and that my surgery was now rescheduled for the following Friday, a week and a day later. So I am now having surgery on April 25th. I guess it could have been worse. I will keep you updated!
