"I like my surgeon very much. He really seems to care about how I feel and what this surgery will do to improve my quality of life. His co ordinator has had the surgery herself and I had to meet with her and learn more about it prior to being approved by Dr. Von Ruden. It was nice having first hand information about what I was about to embark on. There are some manditory things to do before surgery and one was to attend a support group. I think it was very immpotant. Dr. Von Ruden also has open information sessions at Lankenau Hospital to just give info before making any appointments. I recommend this surgeon. I am scheduled for surgery April 17th 2003. I am excited. Staff was great! I feel confident but slightly apprehensive because he has not done all that many of these surgeries. By the time I have mine the number should be around 150. "
