Jackie, I am wishing you a safe, complication free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my Open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having done it several years sooner. I can honestly say, without a doubt, that this is the best thing I have ever done for myself. God bless you as you start your healthy new life.

Jackie, I am SOOO excited for you!! As my good friend Deanna trujillo would say YOU DESERVE THIS. I am SOOO excited that you and I will be in the same hospital, and that when I go for my walks, I can come and visit with you!! Take care of yourself for the next 10 days...can you believe it???? I am 8 days away..and you are only 10!!! See you in about a week and a half!! Remember..I don't care HOW early you get to the hospital...come and see me!! Tell the nurse I want you to wake me up..ok?
