David, I wish you all the best as you embark upon this incrediable journey. Your life will change so much that you will have a hard time keeping up with it all very shortly!! Take excellent care of yourself, get out of that bed and walk all you can to keep away the clots and to help with pain. David, , I am wishing you a safe, complication-free surgery and a quick, smooth recovery. I had my open RNY on Dec. 10, 2001 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having done it several years sooner. I can honestly say that it is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you start your healthy new life.
