David: you CAN appeal the denial on the panni. And I'll tell you why ... here is the link from BC/BS from MN anyway, on what is covered when it comes to panni: http://notes.bluecrossmn.com/web/medpolman.nsf/Web%20Active%20Policy?OpenView&Start=30 . I have been using this to base my request letter on for my panni come October when I meet with my surgeon. And I know you can win. I hope this helps. Keep up the great work!!! Peace @}-----Shanna
