Hi Jennifer, Just wanted to say hello and let you know I will be thinking of you on your new birthday Tues. You are doing the right thing! Im now almost 4 months out on the 15th and have lost 61 lbs in less than that period of time. For once in your life you will be rid of "diet hell" forever! Good Luck, Jennifer! Dr. G did my surgery on 8/31/00 and I am doing wonderfully. He is a great surgeon and will take excellent care of you. Life after surgery is different, but very manageable. I am still a food addict, I just can't indulge myself. I've lost 80 lbs. so far and I feel like a different person. I never realized how much I managed my life around being fat. Prepare yourself for a new way of life. God Bless!
