Hello! Angel Duty! I just talked to Julie and she sounds just great! She is eating a bit, and resting, and doing well. She sounds a bit tired but she says she feels well. They are having a heat wave there in Alaska... 40 degrees! Thank you all for your good wishes and your prayers for Julie.... they paid off, she is doing just fine!

Delinquent Angel reporting for duty! Sorry I haven't posted in a couple of days. I have been talking to my girl Julie though. She passed her leak test, she is up walking in the halls, her back is feeling better, and she is tolerating her liquids well. Congratulations Julie, and welcome to the Other Side! The Losing Side! I am so happy for you Julie! Thanks to everyone for all the prayers, the good wishes, and the kind posts to Julie. She was supposed to come home yesterday afternoon, and I am going to call her this evening or tomorrow to check up on her, and I will post again. Love you Julie!!!

Hello Everyone! I did get to talk to Julie's husband Warren last night. He called at midnight, forgot the time difference! He felt so bad he tried to hang up before he told me anything!!! Julie did really well, came through the surgery great. she was having a lot of pain, especially in her back. She has her morphine button, but I told Warren (and all of you, too) if the morphine isn't doing it for you, there are other drugs that can be used with the pain button, like demerol and dilaudid, which work better for some people without the nausea. Anyway, it is only 6:30 am Alaska time so I can't call my girl yet, but I will and I will update you all. Thanks for all of your prayers and good wishes, I know Julie is "feeling the love" and this will aid tremendously in her recovery. She is a wonderful girl and I am so happy for her! Later.....
