Hi Jessica! Just a note to let you know you are not alone. I know EXACTLY how you feel--I first saw Dr. Oakley last October, but Regence wouldn't even consider this surgery. We decided to self-pay, and my surgery was set for March 24th, right before Bill Plowman's. Well, my husband lost his job of 12 years when Jabil closed in November. My surgery was rescheduled for June 3rd. I was so disappointed, but a really good thing happened--my husband started working for a company with United Healthcare, and they will probably cover my surgery! I see that you have uhc, too. I am so excited 31 days it seems like I started this process so long ago, However it seems like the closer I get to date the more distance I find coming from my friends and family.. Whu is that are they just scared I wonder ?

Hi Jessica, We have the same surgery date, very exciting and scary too. I also see we have the same insurance. I have yet to be approved, I am hoping the approval comes soon. Have a safe journey to the other side. Lynn
