Hi Everyone, I got to Anchorage and ready to go in for surgery and my Respitory Dr. was needed out of town. So Dr. Todd and Staff felt that it would be better for me to postpone surgery til the 24th when Dr. Stewart gets back. I am doing fine and still raring to go. Thanks for the prayers.

Hi~~ Just wanted to wish you ALL the best with your upcoming surgery. I'm 5 days post op and know the first couple of days are gonna be rough on you....in fact up until Saturday morning in the hospital, I couldn't believe I'd put myself thru such hell (nose tube, IV, etc). The soreness hasn't been a big issue for me yet---wish I could tolerate the Lortab pain med that the hospital started me on but had to give that up for liquid ibuprofen (tastes TERRIBLE!!). My advice for anyone after surgery: as soon as the doc/nurses give you leave to walk, do as much of it as possible. It'll get you home quicker. Lord bless you and keep you as safe & comforable as possible.
