Hi Lorraine, I haven't heard from you since I emailed you so I hope you are okay. It looks from your page that you have had a difficult time before you even started. I am on my 2 day pre-op liquid diet as my surgery is Tuesday. I will be leaving on Monday so I wanted to take this time to wish you all the luck in the world. If possible, I will email you when I get out, which should be before your surgery. I absolutely love your web page. God, how I miss the craziness of NY and LA. I also miss the weird theatre people! I know I am certainly one and believe me, living in North Dakota, that sure sets you out. Your profile shows me that you are a wonderful, young woman with lots of stamina! Stick with it. Lorraine, First: Congratulations on your insurance approval! That was a big one for me, so it's no small thing that you're all set. Secondly: I know how frustrating it is to have this put off, but thank God you have a doctor who is through enough to make sure your are 100% ready for this surgery. My first appointment with my surgeron was 5/15/02 & the surgery was finally done on 3/3/03 ( I had a date delay as well). It seemed like forever but t on the day of my surgery I could hardly remember most of it. Last: You are taking the right step for a healthier and happier life. In just three and a half months I feel like a new person. I'm about half way to goal & would not change a thing about the entire process.
