Howdy everyone! Well its been 19 days post-op and I feel great. I have had some minor problems since I've been home, but this to will pass. I have lost 36 lbs. and I have on today for the first time in over a year cloths I thought I would never be able to wear. What a good feeling that is. Yesturday I had a feel sorry for me day, but being able to get in to these cloths sure made that feeling go away. My wife Vicki and my kids sure have been a God sent to me these past few days. I know they truely love me, from all the support they have givin me these past few days. Vicki is truely my Angle. She always knows how to get me up and laughin at my self pitty. My God I love this woman. I just hope I can be as good an Angle to her as she has been to me. She is my who Life! Thank you all for your thoughts and Prayers. God bless. Bill Brunn

Just wanted to update you all on Bill's condition. He had a bad night on Wednesday night and began vomiting. The surgeon came in yesterday morning and put the NG tube in. yesterday was a rough day. Bill is still walking lots. Doc was just in this morning and didn't take the NG tube out yet. He's giving Bill some mineraly oil and plugging off the NG tube to test him and make sure things are moving through. He thinks they are but doesn't want to risk taking the tube out and having to put it back in. He said an obstruction is possible but not likely. Everyone please pray that he's not obstructed. That'll mean another surgery. We were hoping to be home today, so Bill's a little discouraged. I want him in the hospital until we KNOW everything's working as it should since we are 2 hours from Dr. Spier (surgeon) once we go home. I don't want to have to make any fast trips back down here for any emergencies if we can help it. Hang in there Honey, you're a trooper! Love, Vicki

This is day 2 after surgery and Bill is still doing very well. He is walking all around the hospital floor and is skipping his pain medication every so often. He says most of his pain now is from his back. He had back surgery 3 years ago and it hurts for him to lie on his back so long. Unfortunately, his tummy incision won't let him lie on his side....so, he takes pain meds. He has gas pains too, but I hear that's normal for wls. He's hoping to go home tomorrow. It scares me alittle cuz his surgeon will be 2 hours away in case he has problems. So keep praying for us. Hopefully no complications. Love you Teddy Bear, *Smooch* Vicki

Bill had his surgery this morning and doc says everything went well. He didn't have to take out his gallbladder and said everything looked good. Bill is on a lot of pain medication and drifts in and out. He's supposed to get up and walk tonight around 9 p.m. It's 7 pm now and I can't imagine him walking in 2 hrs, but we'll see. He's been in good spirits when he's awake and is his old ornery self. Pastor Wil spent the day with us and I was sure glad for his support. I sure love this mam too much for words, Thank you for all of your prayers and thank you God for seeing him through this. His loving wife and angel, Vicki
