Angel update....Carolyn had her surgery this afternoon and I just had the pleasure of speaking with her. Luckily she had just used her pain pump a few minutes earlier and she sounded great! She is in some pain and extremely thirsty, they will not give her any ice chips until after her leak test tomorrow. We are all so happy that another one of us has made it to the other side. Just take it one day at a time. I will keep everyone posted.

Carolyn, just a few more days and life will be starting over for you. I am 2 weeks post-op and next to marrying my wife it was the best decision I have ever made. Best of luck and you will be in my prayers.
