Helloooooooo Linda! Hey only 7 days away from your new life - how exciting for you and strangely enough I'm excited too! I just love to see all these people taking control of their lives and giving such support to each other. To those that would question your decision I say consider that you have chosen to BRAVELY give yourself, your family and friends a beautiful and wonderful GIFT. You have chosen LIFE! Don't be swayed by those that doubt or don't understand. You have made a COURAGEOUS decision - YOU GO GIRL! Sending you lots of warm thoughts and prayers as you journey to the other side.

Linda, please don't be upset, just be glad that you have a doctor that is making sure that everything goes well. I had my filter put in a few years back and I tell you it has been a godsend. In the long run you will be so glad that you have it. I know you are really ready for the surgery, but this is only a minor delay. Before you know it you will be on the wonderful side of losers. I will keep you in my prayers for an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. Best wishes to you as you continue on your journey.

Good Morning Everybody, Today makes only 3 days left before surgery. I'm looking forward to feeling better and to be able to walk some distence without getting tired. So many people have said, are you sure that you want to go through with the surgery? I tell them that I have been given a tool to get healthier and to add life to my body. I failed at my own and know I can go on and have a more productive life. To all who will be having surgery on Sept.11, my prayers are with you as we go forward together for WLS. Thank you all for all your loving thoughts and prayers. Gods Blessings to all. Linda

Hello everybody, Thank you all for your prayers and support. I have been waiting for 8 1/2 months and I have only 6 days left. I had my pre-op visit on Tuesday and every thing went pretty well except one thing. I had a pulmanary emblism in my right lung in 2000 and they are talking about putting in a filter to catch any blood clot that may try to start. It would filter that out.I have no fears, and I know that what ever they decide to do is the right thing todo. I hope the time really goes fast. It seemed that today would never end. But it amost is over. Thank You all . I really need your support. All my best to all of you. I will keep you all posted. Linda

Hello Linda - <b>Congratulations</b> on your upcoming surgery!   You'll find the changes that follow, nothing short of a miracle. My humble advice?  Walk as much as possible after surgery.  As your body begins to heal make sure to get in your protein, even if it means plugging your nose and chugging back the protein drinks in baby [pouch] gulps.  Vitamins need to be chopped, minced or crushed... whatever it takes to get them in daily, no exceptions, YOU are worth it.   Also, let's not forget your new best(est) friend, water.  It is SO important to get your minimum 64 oz in daily. One final thing, remember to <b>CELEBRATE</b> all the special moments along the way, big or small.  Too many people focus only on the number, ie. pounds lost.  There are so many "moments" to look forward to and embrace, don't let any of them slip by.   Enjoy your new healthier life because you've more then earned it!!   <i>"The key to happiness is dreams, the key to success is making those dreams come true"</i>  Hugs & smiles -
