HI Linda, Congrats on Getting there. I am Very Excited for you that you are about to imbark on a whole new personal Journey. My Dr is in the same office as yours I have my Consult on Thursday. Linda- I just wanted to say that I will be thinking of you Tuesday and praying that everything turns out wonderfully. We have the same surgeon, so I have complete confidence that everything will be fine. He's great. And so are you. I enjoy reading your posts, and hope I can stay as positive as you seem to have done. Right now I'm waiting for my insurance to approve the surgery, and if they do, Maria assures me she will get me a surgery date asap. I'm going nuts just waiting for approval. I can imagine what I will be like while I'm waiting for my surgery. LOL. You're lucky to have had Nanette. She seems to have been a great friend to you. Anyway, I think you are a wonderful person and I'm sure that everything is going to go smoothly for you. Be sure to keep us posted as soon as you can. I will be thinking about you all day Tuesday, and checking the message board for updates on your condition. Good luck and God bless.

Linda, Just one more time, I had to tell you to stay strong and focused like your post stated tonight. You know, you have a way of emotionally "moving" people with your words. Linda....I just had to say that I believe you have a wonderful gift for writing. I have been reading your posts over the last few days and you have a great way with words. You really put things in perspective. The other day you had a post reguarding trials and tribulations with weight loss and I just had to copy and put on my web sight. If this isnt okay, let me know and I will remove.{ I think it was wonderful.} You should consiter writing a book on WLS, it would be a million seller! Good luck with your journey, I know you will succeed! Hugs

Linda, I think you should speak to the Pastor and let him deal with the offending board member. You are under his umbrella of protection and his authority. This also leaves you in a nuetral position , enabling you to work with everyone with no ackwardness. Just one christians opinion. Leslie E.

Linda, you are not alone. You're not an alien. I have had a few of those wierd thoughts myself. I try to shake them off. Its great that you are not smoking again. Stay busy. Try posting to others surgery pages. Look at the surgery page and go down the list. That will help someone else and yourself at the same time.You have made a good decision for yourself. Leslie E.

You will love your new life, you will be able to do so many new things again. May the power of speedy healing be with you. Welcome to the losing side. Just remember others have been on the road before you, you are not alone and there will be others after you who will seek the same road as you, and you will be there to help them along
