kara is home! she is very uncomfortable so is sleeping in her lazy boy recliner but her hubby says she is doing ok. welcome to the losers club kara!

i just read another email from jim, kara's dh & she is resting comfortably in her room. way to go kara! hubby & kids planning on a visit to her tomorrow. im sure that will make her VERY happy. i will call her late in the afternoon to say hello. will update afterwards. HAPPY NEW YEAR & NEW BIRTHDAY KARA!

i got an email from kara's dh jim & kara was in recovery. the surgery went very well & lasted about 4 hours. i dont have any further info just yet but i wanted to let every one know that kara now has a new birthday!!! i will update as i find out more info.

its 10:50 pst & 1:50 est. i just called the hospital to check on kara & she is still in surgery. it didnt get started until 11 est. so i will post again as soon as i have more information
