i was able to get a hold of kara today. she is still in the hosp in a private room. due to the nature of her spleen problem i do not feel it would be wise to discuss the details, but, i will say that her problem is a complication of her wls. the decision to remove her spleen or not, will be made on monday. she is on heavy duty antibiotics & i.v. in the hopes that her condition will right itself & another surgery will be unnecessary. please email her or go to her surgery page & wish her well. she sounds exhausted & very down in the dumps & needs our tlc. she hasnt seen her children since tuesday & her poor jim is running himself ragged. i will keep in touch with her from now til monday & will update on monday as to her condition. kara...keep ur chin up honey. my prayers r with u. god bless u & keep u in his protective hands.

Hello Kara....I pray you get to feeling better very soon. I am so sorry you have had to go through this set back. I hope that you have a speedy recovery and get home to that beautiful family. I am also praying for them. Good luck and God bless YOU! PEACE

i tried to call kara today but didnt know her room was changed. so of course i got the wrong person. but her DH emailed me later on & gave me her new phone number & i will call her tomorrow. please email kara some loving thoughts. her DH will print them out & take them to her. she is very very down in the dumps. i will post again tomorrow to let u all know how she is. god bless u kara & i pray for a speedy recovery for u.

hi AMOS family. i received an email from kara's DH telling me that she is in the hospital with spleen problems. im not sure if it is related to her wls or not but, she is very down in the dumps & would really appreciate some tlc. please email her if u can. her hubby will print the emails & take them to her & hopefully cheer her up. i will call her tomorrow & will update u afterwards.
