Hi all. It's been a while since my first entry. A lot has happened since then. I took the plunge and got sleeved on May 10th. Everything has gone great. I experienced no post op pain, minimal gas, ...

Hi Mane!
I'm actually feeling really good post-op. I'd say I feel about 98% normal. I get more tired than I usually would, I think because I'm just not taking in that many calories. I'm up to being able to go for an hour-long walk at a time. I'm taking naps when I feel like it :-) I'm grateful I have a second week off of work to make sure I'm taking good care of myself and drinking plenty of fluids.
Have you had any surgeries before? I have had a few minor procedures (appendix, etc) and have recovered well from anesthesia and surgery in the past, so that helped me feel comfortable that I would come through this okay as well.
My best advice is to follow all your directions from your surgeon and get yourself moving post-op as soon as possible. And I come to this website daily for support. It really helps.

Hi Seabexlose. Congrats on your journey. I hope your surgery went well and that you are recovering nicely. I am also new to the site and am scheduled for surgery on May 10th. I am a bit nervous and anxious about the post op process so I would love to hear how you are doing and managing. Best wishes.

Have surgery, follow the plan to the t and manage my stress better by working out and taking things slower.

Hi I'm new to the site as I'm considering the sleeve procedure within the next few months but I must admit I am very scared and have a lot of questions.
