Can Premier Protein^® Shakes be heated? Does heat break down the protein if you add some shake to flavor coffee?
Premier Protein^® Shakes can be heated - it will not break down the protein in our formula. However, boiling the formula is not recommended. In addition, the tetra shake container should not be put in the microwave.  

What is the recommended dosage for Premier Protein® products?
Enjoy 1-2 shakes daily or as recommended by your health care provider.

What type of protein do you use in your Premier Protein® shakes?
Premier Protein® shakes contain a blend of milk proteins: Milk Protein Concentrate, Calcium Caseinate, Whey Protein Concentrate. 

Is there caffeine in your shakes?
The caffeine content of the 11 oz Premier Protein chocolate shake comes from the cocoa powder, which equates to about 8mg caffeine/shake. The vanilla shake flavor does not contain caffeine.

Are Premier Protein® products gluten-free?
Yes, Premier Protein® shakes are gluten free.

Are Premier Protein®  shakes lactose-free?
No. We use milk proteins in our shake formula; however, people with some degree of lactose sensitivity should be able to enjoy this product safely due to the reduced level of lactose – only 1g of sugar lactose.

Are Premier Protein® products kosher?
Premier Protein® shakes are kosher, and are labeled as kosher. 

How much phosphorus (in mg) is in Premier Protein® shakes?
Premier Protein® shakes contain 50% of the Daily Value (DV) of Phosphorus, which is 500mg.
