I started taking this before I had my RNY and always felt better when i was taking it, unlike regular multi's where I couldn't tell the difference. The sugars in it don't bother me and I feel it is an excellent choice because it is absorbed so quickly. It looks terrible, but has a nice fruity taste.

DO NOT BUY THIS! The second ingred. is fructose. It will cause you to be very ill if you have had a rny! It looks like bile and tastes awful.

Best chewable iron I have found so far. 27mg each and they taste great. Comparable chewable iron would be Bariatric Advantage with 29mg. They tast good too, but you can triple the price.

I would not buy this product. It is too sweet and I dont like the pieces of fruit floating it it. It has an aftertaste also.

I started this as soon as I could eat solid foods, I haven't had my levels checked yet, but I have been on it for 3 months. I get my levels done in about 2 weeks. I DO know that I feel better than I have in a long time. Hema-plex is also loaded with other nutrients & vitamins such as Vit D & Zinc. I think I get the most bang for my buck.

My doctor wanted me to switch to an adult vitalmin. I went to the Natural Food Store and this was a product they suggested. It came in a smaller bottle that I decided to try since I have gone through so many supplement. It is excellent and comes with green foods for the phyto nutrients that are recommended that we get every day. I will continue to use this product since it tastes great and has more than I probably need. I was warned of the dark green coloring but was assured of its great flavor.

2 wafers is a serving, but I take 1 with breakfast and the other with lunch. It is considered a Multi-vitamin/Mineral supplement and boy does it contain a lil bit of everything!!! I think they taste a wee bit to sweet, but are better than any other Chewable Multi I have tried! and has more minerals than any other I have came across as well! I highly recommend these!

I have difficulty with iron supplements. I have no diarrhea or vomitting with Hema-Plex. My hemaglobin count came up almost 2 points in 1 1/2 weeks. Excellent supplement for healthy blood! I will have to crush it after surgery.
