I thought this was gonna be my drink...I tried it with cold water. It tasted weak. It is much better with fat free milk or added to the cib. I am gonna need to spruce it up a little. But who knows, I may like it after surgery. Great nutritional content tho.
(indicates that they have not used the product)After many gagging tries with powders I tried Punch, Blue Raspberry and Apple Melon. I will never be without an Apple Melon in my fridge again!
I can't believe I finally found something that tastes good, mmmmm Jolly Rancher, sour apple blow pop here I come!
I figure I would eat more than $3.25 in any given pre-op day so the price is well worth finding something that goes down and doesn't smell like liquid chalk mixed with vomit! (at least all my powders so far have smelled OR tasted like that!) It's heaven and I can justify the price, worth having the protein instead of making my body suffer without!
This is great because 1. it actually tastes good (Alpine Punch and Grape Frost, not a fan of Green Apple), and 2. it's easy to take on the go (but wish it came in a plastic bottle instead of glass) or in the office. It's a little pricy, but I feel like it's good for me (40 g. protein, no sugar, no carbs), and this, along with the half a Real Meals I choke down in the morning, has me covered protein-wise in addition to whatever I eat that day.
(indicates that they have used the product)I tried this drink for the first time today. I have been getting nauseaus (sp?) on the protein powders so someone suggested these drinks and they are great. I have tried the apple melon and if you like sour apple blow pops they taste almost exactly the same.
