I consume one of these daily, to obtain the additional protein that I need. I eat half in the morning for a snack and half in the afternoon.

These bars should be renames "The Big Lie". They are quite delicious! That's a fact. However, they are obscenely high in calories and it's a proven fact that eating them causes you to crave other foods like them such as candy bars, etc. If we had the discipline to have one every now and then that would be fine but most of us MO folks don't have any discipline when it comes to food and the detour, one way and u-turn bars are all triggers that encourage bad eating habits! It's a shame because they are so tasty.

These generally sell for $2.69 a bar. At GNC as part of their club you can get them at the first of the month with all discounts for $20 box.

These rae by far the best protein bars I have come across. The U-Turn and Detour made by the same company are good also, but One-Way is my preference. They also make a Joy-Ride bar that has coconut.

As with all protein suppliments each person has their own taste and preferences. I dislike pretty much all of them. Unjury powder and One-Way bars are the two I like and use often.

GNC carries the 3 oz bars, and Walmart sells a 1.5oz bar. Look for them and give them a try, certainly better than most of the bars out there!

gnc has a large bar that is 32g I believe and it is about $2.25 It is a better deal than CVS but I don't get to GNC as often. CVS has a smaller version wich is 15 grams of protein for 1.99. I feel like they are a little pricy for the size but they taste as much like a snickers as you can for a protein bar... Very good taste!

Wow! This tasted a LOT like an Almond Joy-- it was so good my husband even enjoyed some of it! If my tastes don't change too much, I definitely will be buying this after surgery... and that's saying a lot for me, since I really don't care for anything with any kind of artificial sweetener in it.

This was really good for an artificially sweetened protein bar. A nice way to get that "candy bar" taste with the added value of a hefty dose of protein.

Tastes very close to a Reeses cup but has 30 grams of protein in it. Carbs are a bit high but I use them on mornings when I go work out so the carbs get burnt off first!

The mini detour bars (15 grams of protein) are the perfect size. The taste could be most compared to a snickers bar. I like that they are chewy and crunchy. The peanuts add a lot to it. I have at least two with me at all times. I keep a case in the refrigerator so I never have an excuse for not having protein.
