Dr. shiv is the BEST!!! He saved my life. I did not want to have this surgery, I felt like a failure. He called my other doctors and they ganged up on me and told me, that if I did not have this surgery, I would die. Dr. Shiv put me in touch with the Doctor that he tought was best for me, since I had alot of medical problems, such as my heart. He felt that it would be best for me to have open surgery, instead of Lyposcopic. I trust this man with my life and anything that he tells me to do, I do!! He listens, he doesn't shrugg you off like most doctors. if something is bothering you, he doesn't take it light, he will send you for tests and do whatever is necessary to get to the bottom of what is bothering you and give you peace of mind. I tell you, I wish he saw kids, because I want him to be my children's doctor. I trust him, again, with my life, my husband trusts him with his life and we know we could trust him with our children's lives. I have had many doctors in my life, because of all my illnesses, and he is the best. When he left the DOCS practice, we followed him, we didn't care how far we had to travel, we do it. He is encouraging, supportive, helpful, trustworthy, truthful, friendly, he holds nothing back and that is a quality you want in a doctor. I cannot say enough about this man. I have been a patient of Dr. Shivdasani since 1995. He first referred me for gastric bypass surgery and for one year before my surgery went home every night to educate himself on the surgery on the web to make sure he was helping me with the best possible up to date info. then he would callme at home and update me. He is terriffic. He is kind. He is warm. He is great! you can tell him I sent you!
