Hi, I have not yet had the honor of have my plastic surgery yet, but one thing I know, if Im getting it done, its only going to be through Dr.Katzen. He has AMAZING bedside manners, answers all my silly questions, and he DOES NOT GIVE UP. Right now Im in the middle of getting my insurance to approve it. He goes above and beyond for all of his patience. Being big before, I have always been uncomfortable with taking off my clothes, but Im even more so with everything being so saggy. But Dr. Katzen has this ora about him that just puts you at ease. Hes helped out so many people, and is trying to help so many more. My name is Jacki and I had the RNY gastric bypass 4.5 years ago. I went from 365lbs. down to 230lbs. Even though I was so happy with my results, nothing prepared me for how much excess skin, fat, and tissue I would still have. I was heartbroken because I had done all of this hard work to lose weight and feel normal, yet I still got stares; now they weren't from being morbidly obese, but because I had all of this unattractive hanging skin.

About 2.5 years ago I started to do my research and came across Dr.Katzen as one of my prospect surgeons. I had my consult and to be honest, he was nothing as I had imagined. Most doctors (especially in the Beverly Hills area) are all about the money. Dr.Katzen is not only one of kindest doctors I have met, but his artistic skills are impecable. Then, to make things even better, I got to see his work shine on TLC's The Real Skinny. Right then and there, I knew Dr.Katzen was the only surgeon I would trust my body with.

I have had multiple surgeries with Dr.Katzen that was staged into 3 different surgeries. I had a 360 body lift with staged liposuction of the medial thighs. An arm lift with a horizontal torsoplasty and the final surgery was a medial thigh lift. Dr.Katzen had amazing bedside manner and was very patient with me throughout the entire journey. I couldn't be happier with my results.

After I lost weight after bariatric surgery I was healthier but I hated my loose skin. I love to swim and hated to get into a swimming suit. I am so much happier now that I have had the body lift. Life is so much better. I am so glad I had it done.

I first met Dr. Katzen at the first annual WLS Las Vegas Meet & Greet in 2010. He was giving free consultations. After getting my consultation, I had decided that if I were to ever be able to get reconstructive surgery, Dr. Katzen would be the one and only doctor I'd deal with. I felt 100% comfortable with him from the very first moment he introduced himself.

I had gastric bypass surgery on March 12, 2009. I have lost over 200 lbs total, and had ALOT of excess skin. Dr. Katzen actually gave me HOPE... Hope that I'd maybe one day feel "normal", after being obese my entire life.

In 2011, I was the first recipient of the reconstructive surgery grant, given by the Weight Loss Surgery Foundation Of America (WLSFA.org), and Dr. Katzen was the surgeon that was going to perform it. On September 27, 2011 I had my Circumferential Body Lift. I stayed two nights in the Pearl Recovery Retreat, and stayed in California long enough for my post-op follow up appointment with Dr. Katzen.

Let me just say, that from the VERY beginning...EVERY SINGLE PERSON I encountered during the whole process has been nothing but kind, caring, and genuine individuals. From Jane, to Lieu, to the receptionist, to everyone in the Pearl Recovery Retreat, and every other person on Dr. Katzen's staff. I fell in love with everyone! Dr. Katzen is very concerned about the patients' safety when it comes to the surgery itself, and the after-care. I didn't just feel like a "number". I felt genuinely cared for. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Katzen to ANYONE doing ANY sort of reconstructive/plastic surgery. I know he's going to be the only one that I will allow to come near me for those sorts of surgeries in the future.

Thank you, Dr. Katzen... and everyone on his staff... for helping me feel "normal" for the first time in my adult life. My self confidence is already through the roof, and I am not even done healing yet. You all have helped CHANGE MY LIFE! I cannot put into words how greatful I am.

PS: The Pearl Recovery Retreat is like you died, and went to Heaven! The staff is SO caring, and sweet. The facilities are GORGEOUS, and you really feel safe. I felt like I was staying at a super fancy hotel!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Katzen and the extraordinary care I received as his patient. Having lost over 150 lbs with the help of gastric bypass surgery, I was left with tons of unsightly loose skin all over my body that disguised my overall weight loss. Therefore, I set out on a mission to find the best plastic surgeon in the country to help undo the damage to my body caused by my extreme weight loss. I live in Dallas, TX and was willing to travel anywhere in order to get the best care and results. Dr. Katzen was amazing and understanding. He made me feel comfortable and the surgery went great. I just hope my scar heals ok. :) However, he is a great doctor and someone you can trust. I strongly suggest him!

Dr. Katzen helped me remove the unsightly loose skin and fat after my weight lost. Now I can look in the mirror and feel beautiful.

Dr. Katzen has performed 2 major body surgeries on me Dec. 2010 and June 2011. He is a highly regarded surgeon and very caring. His work is top notch. He is always available to patients, day or night. I can’t imagine anyone going to another surgeon for body contouring. Jane and Stacy are great too.

I had lap band surgery in April of 2009. I maintained a 100 lbs. weight loss for 2 years. I had excessive loose abdominal skin, thigh skin, and a very large mons pubis area. I met with Dr. Katzen and immediately felt at ease. I told him I wanted these areas worked on as they were affecting my self esteem. After describing what he was going to do, I agreed to surgery. It took one year back and forth with my insurance company and my appeal. I finally had my surgery May 25, 2011. I am very pleased with the outcome. I am planning on having my arms done soon. My friends are very supportive and are always complimenting my new looks. My outlook on life has changed immensely. I no longer shy away from people and events. I am more outgoing. I have recommended Dr. Katzen to a few other people in my support group. I truly want to thank Dr. Naim, my bariatric surgeon and Dr. Katzen for helping me achieve my new life and reach my goals. The staff is wonderful at both offices. I am looking forward to going to Pennsylvania in September to see my family who are all anxious to see the new me!

I used to weigh 637 pounds and had a duodenal switch by Dr. Elariny. I lost over 400 pounds. I decided to travel from Tennessee to California to have my bodylift. Dr. Katzen is well known for his success with the bodylift procedure following bariatric surgeries and other extreme weight-loss experiences. I met Dr. Katzen in LA. Talk about precious! This man has a bedside manner that is nothing less than remarkable. He immediately put my mind at ease and explained the procedures thoroughly, all the while smiling and asking if I had any concerns or questions. He took time with me, and i felt as if my well being had became very important to him. God has sent yet another angel to use his skilled hands to repair my body after years of abuse and indulgence.

The best experience I have ever had. I would do it again without asking questions. Dr. Katzen is an outstanding surgeon whom I trusted with my life and I have received very pleasing results with minimal discomfort. He is a God sent gift to all of us.
