I recently used this doctor for a breast reduction surgery. I have lost about 60lbs and plan to lose another 50. He didnt really make me feel comfortable from the start, so I wish I would have just listened to my gut.

He didnt do a good job of listening to me and we never actually had a formal conversation about the size and scarring, he just decided to give me the size he thought appropriate. The scar that I now have for life is much more extensive than I expected. It runs from under my breast, under my arm and to the start of my back. I was under the impression that the only visible scar would be from my nipple to under the breast. We never discussed this.

My original breasts were not the same size. I thought that being a professional he should be able to recognize this, he didnt. He took the same amount from both sides so one breast is smaller than the other. This is much more noticible now that my breasts are smaller.

The doctor seemed to be almost training a resident the day of the surgery and while he was drawing on me he was discussing how to do things with this other doctor. I didnt think much of it at the time, only that it was rather rude. However when I finally got a look at my stitching I saw that my breasts were stitched together completely differently. One was nice and neat, quite beautiful, the other was sloppily done and my skin was folded up like to doctor pulled my skin too tightly together.

Please if you are going to use this doctor for a breast reduction, contact me first.

I'm Sonja Tyler (Gay) I had seen Dr. Medalie 2 times last year when my primary doctor thought I might need to have plastic surgery on my foot, but Dr. Medalie assured me otherwise and he was right, it healed on it's on. I have an appointment to see him about getting a tummy tuck. That appt. is Oct. 20, 2004. When I met him I was so impressed by his appearance he was very well manicured, professionally dressed, he was also very confident about his field, which I really liked about him, so I never forgot him, and now I'm hoping he will be able to assist me in obtaining and performing a well needed tummy tuck for me.
