My wife had extensive cosmetic surgery with Dr. Shah (tummy tuck, breast reduction and lipo) and his work is phenomenal. He spends as much time as needed with patients. The nurse practitioner (Mary Beth) is great, very knowledgable. The only problem with the office is that the chairs are so small!
Dr. Shah was wonderful! I would highly recommend him and his services to anyone thinking about plastic surgery. He and his staff are great in regards to people that have had weight loss surgery. He'll make you feel very comfortable and spend as much time with you as you need.
I have interviewed 3 surgeons and Dr. Shah and his staff have been, by far, the most helpful and responsive of any.
Dr. Shah and every member of the staff have gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable and confident. They have responded promptly to phone calls and e-mail, have given me as much time as needed. When the office has been busy I have still felt unhurried and like my needs are important to each of them.
I went to Dr. Shah because he was recommended by another Dr. I went to him hoping he could help me with some plastic surgery. Some of the problems that I had with him were not all his fault. I think most of the problems were his office girls. I went to him in April and finally at the end of Sept. got my approval. I was rejected once because Dr. Shah had put in the wrong wording and it had to be sent back. And after the second time I was approved. However, I had already written to him and asked to be removed from his care and had contaced another doctor in Toledo, Ohio. who in 4 weeks did more for me than Dr. Shah's office did in 5 months. I felt that if I slipped through the cracks before surgery what would happen to me after surgery. this was just my personal exerperience. I am sure that Dr. shah is a very good doctor but he was just not for me. One thing I liked about the new doctor I went to is he said to me Norma, you have to have faith in me because once you are asleep your life is in my hands. Very tender commpasoniate person.
