WOW!!!!!! I am so shocked. From the first time that the office staff returned my phone call when I was looking for a consult. Till after surgery when I had a concern. I have been treated so kind, and warmly. DR Dardano DID a wounderful Job and has been only a phone call away for me. I cant wait to continue to use him and his staff for the rest of my plastic needs.
I am a 54 year old woman who was obese most of her life. My mother passed away from complications of being obese and I did not want to follow in her footsteps. A drastic situation required drastic measures, I had by-pass surgery. This worked well for me – I lost 148 pounds – wow, that’s a whole person!
This accomplishment created more issues – excessive skin. You see the person I lost, left their skin behind. I became a member of a fitness center and worked out 5 days a week, but it didn’t go away. My arms had wings and would flap against my side at times. I had rolls of skin above and below my waist, front and back. I was depressed and frustrated, because I worked so hard to be thin but I couldn’t see the results!!
My primary doctor referred me to Dr. Anthony Dardano. I will forever thank her for this first step. I made an appointment for a consultation. Sitting in the examining room, I was nervous…What was I thinking? Why did I make this appointment? You don’t really need to see yourself without the extra skin – do you?
Dr. Dardano walked into the room and after only a few minutes – I knew I was in the right place. As I explained why I was there, I cried that I’d never see or be the person I wanted to be and that I lost all that weight for nothing. In his caring and personable manner, he reassured me that I could be helped, that I would be able to see that person, and he was going to do it.
Just before going into surgery for a body and arm lift, Dr. Dardano came to see me – we talked, we laughed, and I felt more relaxed. Again, I knew he was the right plastic surgeon.
Ten days after surgery, I was in his office wearing short sleeves, which I hadn’t worn in public for over 10 years. My comment was…I don’t stutter when I wave anymore. We laughed and we cried. It was a major accomplishment and Dr. Dardano made it happen.
About his staff… they are quite a team! I applaud them. They’re helpful, professional, and like Dr. Dardano - they all have a “caring” nature about them.
I get tears in my eyes when I think of what he has done for me - I’m a little person and I can see it!! He not only lifted my body and arms, but he lifted my spirit and especially my self esteem!
Dr. Dardano really cares about his patients and I would recommend him to everyone…in fact, I have, everyone I talk to!
