St. Vincent's Medical Center (COE) Hospital

All the staff that was apart of my surgery were so nice and professional to me on the day of my surgerythey made sure that I was comfortable before and aftermy surgery but what I really liked about the medical staff at St. Vincent's is the corny jokes that they share with their patients to help ease away any fears before going into surgery. I would like to say "thanks for the laughter". Now as for the staff who work at The Fairfield County Bartics office they were so supportive, loving, and caring toward me through-out my entire process. Including my doctor who perform my surgery who I have come to respect because I wasn't treated like an outcast by him but as a individual who came to him for help and he was so willing to be there for me even during my recovery and monthly visits he never made me feel less than. "Thank you Dr. Elrich". It has been a year since my surgery and my life has changed for the better, and I haven't looked back since. I keep a picture of myself on my refridgator from two years ago to remind myself what I could look like if I don't follow this simple program. Once again life is good to me.

the level of care that St.V's provides is top notch, and their staff are some of the best. I always feel comfortable going to St. Vincent's for any medical emeergency because I know that I will be well taken care of. The care I received after my surgery was better than I expected and if I had to do it all over again I would choose St.V's anyday.

As far as the nurses they were great so were the docotrs, but they CNA'S really need to be updated on sensitivites. I recall laying down while they were doing something in my room and all they were talking about is what they were having for lunch, and how hungry they were. Which I have to say wasn't nice but I guess I was so nauseated it just made me sicker.
The parking can be very expensive if your gonna be there a few days. My husband paid 11.75 one day.
Also I felt like a burden when asking for help. (when u ask the cna for something they were like oooo, okay...with rolling eyes like they didn't like their job..Thank god my husband is so good to me. He made sure I drank. He put the boots on me for circulation. He also encouraged me to walk. One nurse asked me if I wanted to walk the whole time I was there. 10 GOLD STARS FOR HER.....I felt really dizzy so It wasn't like I could get up and walk myself.
