Excellent hospital and staff, especially the ICU staff

They used a EGD scope on me that was NOT sterile..and didn't even notifiy me of this. I found out about it 11 months later by a 3rd party.

Although I may have been only one of MAYBE a handful of African American patients during my stay. I have to say that I and my family were treated with the utmost respect, courtesy, and professionalism throughout my week long stay with them! As far as I'm concerned, Putnam General is one of the best hospitals I've ever had to deal with!

Again this is a small hospital all but one RN was very nice and I actually had fun while I was there I love to laugh and they all made me very comfortable from the Nurses to the Anesthesiologist to the ones who clean. I would go back there for treatment requesting I did not get the one RN that did not have a good bedside manner with his comments that scared me to what he would do if not supervised.

I was surprized to find such excellent care at such a small hospital. Everyone there was well trained and very observant to my needs and wishes. I would highly recommend this well-kept secret to anyone that has a need for this or any surgical procedure.
