The limitation was with trying to deal with morbid obesity medically when surgery is the only realistic solution. Dr. Fujioka realized that and pushed me to have the surgery.

I won't go back to him, he has no faith in me losing weight after my surgery and feel I am not getting accurate info from him I have the band and I think he has me confused as having the bypass.

Dr. Fugioka is the most gentle kind man that I have ever met. I instantly felt comfortable with him and he knows his field very well!! Have recommended him over and over again!

I've been a patient of Dr. Fujioka's for over 5 years and can say that over the years he has developed into a wonderful support for the gastric bypass patient as he assists them with pre-op and post-op lifestyle and eating habit changes. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in pursuing gastric bypass surgery. (sidenote:) His staff is also a complete delight to interact with.
