STRAIGHTFORWARD AND HONEST ABOUT EVERYTHING.
THE STAFF IS ALWAYS VERY CURTEOUS AND HELPFUL, VERY UNDERSTANDING. SHE IS VERY
ADAMENT ABOUT FOLLOW UP CARE AND CHANGING
YOUR LIFESTYLE AFTER THE SURGERY. MY ONLY
REGRET IS THAT SHE IS NO LONGER WITH BTC.

Dr. Choban was the best doctor I have ever had. I really felt as if she cared about me and my progress. She is an Ohio State Alumni as is my husband. She even let me go to the Fiesta Bowl January 2003 (less than six weeks after my surgery). She primarily approved the trip because she was going and was on the same plane and tour as I was. She is no longer at BTC unfortunetly, as she has returned to practicing at OSU. The staff at the BTC was super!!! I can't say enough about them. My after care has been superb. I am alittle anxious now about my two year visit though, because I am going to be assigned to a new doctor, but I am sure he/she will be as great as Dr. Choban.

I am very impressed with Dr. Choban and all of her staff. Dr. Choban answered all my questions, and made sure I had a complete understanding of the surgery. I highly recommend her to anyone considering the surgery. At the time I applied, she had performed the surgery more times than anyone on staff at the BTC in Groveport, Ohio.

Dr. Choban emphasized the importance of keeping all follow-up appointments. Additionally, she has a very pleasant bedside manner, which is a bonus that complements her surgical competence.

I never had any negative experiences either at the actual BTC office, with their office staff, or any of the doctors there. The only problems I had was with my insurance company (losing paperwork).

I was really impressed with Dr. Choban the first meeting. She explained everything connected with the surgery to both me and my husband. She let us ask all the questions we wanted and she detailed everything in laymans terms so it was easy to understand. The staff at BTC was excellent and my hospital experience was great. No problems with anything and my recovery was easy. I expected some discomfort, but hardly had any at all. My weight loss journey was easy and by knowing everything in advance, I was well prepared. The key is doing exactly what the plan lays out. The surgery is a tool and will not work if you do not do the work.
I highly recommend Dr. Choban and BTC.

The inital meeting withthe doctor was done with another couple considerign the surgery. It was very informal and I love Dr. Choban immediately. She is definitely a people person because she is very relaxed and confident with what she has to offer a person.

I think this woman has saved my life. My internist said they he thought I had about a to year life expectancy before the surgery. If I had to wait a long time to get the surgery I might not have made it. She is incredibly friendly and open and is completely trustworth in what she says. I trusted her with my life.

She was great! very confident in her work and answered all my questions. very much to the point. you can tell she LOVES what she does. she has alot of patients so she can be a little "quick". over all i am very glad she will be my doctor.

Patricia Choban comes highly recommended. Office staff was quite friendly. Dr. Choban was direct and to-the-point and didn't sugar-coat the procedure. Dr. Choban is very adamant about after-care.

A friend of mine had Dr. Choban as a surgeon and that is the main reason I chose her. I've heard nothing but raving reviews about her!!!!!!!!!!

I have met with her once and she's very nice.
She explained everything completely and didn't use a bunch of "doctor" words or terms.
The office staff was very friendly.
