Getting into the talented hands of Dr. Alvarez and the amazing team at Endobariatric was a long journey. I suffered ever worsening obesity since the birth of my children and tried everything, I mean EVERYTHING, to return to a healthy weight.

Then my sister and her whole family found Dr. Alvarez. I watched all of their lives transform and was finally ready to take that step. Everything went superbly. The surgeon and his team were world-class professionally but also compassionate. The facility was immaculate. I’m a Deputy Health Officer and have inspected well-rated facilities that can’t hold a candle to the Endohospital. I am on my journey now with more to come. Placing my care with Dr. Alvarez was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life.

Definitivamente lo mejor que me pudo haber pasado fue encontrar el Dr Alvarez y poder contar con su elegante trabajo, no solo de el también de todo su equipo de trabajo, en especial el de La señorita Lourdes y la señorita Sofía, pero todos todos hacen un excelente trabajo, es un procedimiento que no está exento de ser riesgoso pero creo que el Doctor Alvarez y todo su equipo lo tienen todo muy bien premeditado para que sea un procedimiento sencillo, sin dolor y todo un exito.
Lo recomiendo 100% , creo que si no es el mejor esta dentro de ellos sin dejar de evaluar a todo su tin medico, Si estás pensando hacer una Manga gastrica, no lo piense 2 veces para escoger el Doctor Alvarez y las comodidades de su acoger Hospital, te dan la gran posibilidad de transportarte sin tener que manejar, contando con la eficiente chofer Roxi y su hermosa amabilidad y buena conducción, la muchacha de la cocina que lamentablemente no recuerdo su nombre pero es muy buena, eficiente y hace unas sopas de vegetales muy ricas, como olvidarlas si llegue con muchísimo hambre y podía comer toda la que quisiera, no se me puede olvidar el Señor Román, tan atento y servicial, tomamos un licuado de mango sabroso que nos encargó. I had vsg 12-22-2018. I started out 342 lbs. I had tried every diet, pill, fad to lose weight but nothing stuck. I finally decided for vsg with dr Alvarez after a million questions. his staff is awesome! The hospital is the cleanest I have ever seen and was cared for around the clock exceptionally! Dr Alvarez answered all of my questions and concerns and although I was scared to have surgery he helped calm my fears and helped make the entire process as painless as possible. My only regret is not having done sooner I'm still losing. Currently at 260 lbs but went from 24/26 size to 14/16 size. I am a slow loser but I feel healthy and at my latest doctor visit all bloodwork shows normal. I've been off my meds for diabetes since surgery, I had been on a pill and a daily shot. No need for blood pressure meds anymore either. My doctor was very impressed. I've lost so many inches and every time I see anyone that it's been a while , they are always shocked. I dont mind taking pictures anymore and I now finally love to shop. Inside I'm changing and feel like the old me is leaving forever. I'm on my way to the best version of myself. Endobariatrics and Dr Alvarez are the best choice for care , hands down

In the fall of 2018 I was at the end of my rope. I was extremely depressed and felt hopeless, once again at my highest weight, having tried EVERY diet you can imagine only to gain it back, plus more each time. This was my pattern for 30+ years! I came across some pictures of a friend on social media that I hadn't seen in awhile and could tell she had lost a large amount of weight. Though I live across the country from Dr. Alvarez, I traveled alone for my surgery (as many of his patients have) and never once in the process did I feel alone. Dr. Alvarez and his staff are there every step of the way, guiding you through the entire process. I reached my goal weight in 6 months, and have maintained that loss for for almost 7 months since my surgery and could not be more thrilled! I highly recommend Dr. Alvarez if you are considering gastric sleeve surgery and want only the best care you can find!

An amazing team

I had gastric sleeve surgery almost 2 years ago. The experience to say the least was one of the best I have ever had. I have lost and maintained a weight loss of 90+ lbs and have never felt so good. Dr A and his team helped me get my life back and I cannot thank him enough. The care I received from him and his team was better than any health care I have ever received in the states. Their attention to detail and follow up was amazing and they truly made me feel like I was family. My mother came with me and was also blown away by the care and expertise given by Dr A and his team.
