My first impression of Dr.Ferzli after our initial consultation was that he really cared about my health and informed me of the choices I had to lose weight. Also, He made himself available for any questions I had concerning the surgery. His office staff is very friendly and helpful. Any person thinking about bariatric surgery should definetly make an appointment to see Dr. Ferzli and discuss your options with him. Dr. Ferzli has a great aftercare program in his office which includes monthly meetings which he insists on you going to. These meetings are with the psychologist and Nutritionist which are both very informative and helpful. Before any surgery, Dr. Ferzli will discuss the risks with any of the procedures you choose. I think Dr.Ferzli and his staff make a great team any will help you in your weight loss journey.

I had surgery eight months ago and I've lost 80 pounds already. I feel great and am off my medication for diabetes. My cholesterol is lower and I feel great. I receive counseling from my doctor and nutritionists and follow along with their recommendations. I am glad to have made the decision to have weight loss surgery.

My first impression of Dr. Ferzli was is is a nice man who talk to me realistically about what I needed to do to achieve my weight loss goals. My impression has never changed, his staff as well as Dr. Ferzli are hugely supportive and there for their patients. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ferzli as surgeon as well as his staff to everyone I know. There is a huge empasis on after care as by all. I feel that Dr. ferzli help to save my life as well as extend it and provided me with a gift that I could not achieve alone.rnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrnrn

Dr. Ferzli and his staff are very professional and welcoming. I was very comfortable deeling with such an inteligent surgant. It was the most major surgery I had but I can tell hw is talanted. my stitches and wounds are very clean. I feel they are a family to me now that is taking my hand toward success.

Dr Ferzli is a consumate professional. He was ready, willing and able to answer all of the questions that either I or my family had. He also tried to keep us well grounded as far as reasonable expectations from the surgery. His staff was kind and helpful especially Donna Haber. I feel that prospective patients should expexct to be prepared with questions and should walk into this situation with their eyes wide open and informed. Dr. Ferzli places a great deal of emphasis on the aftercare of his patients because the operation is just the beginning of the process. He insists that you continue to follow up with your primary care physician as well as the nutritionist, cardiologist, dietitian and others that may be required to continue your care and see you through your journey back to a healthier you. Overall, Dr. Ferzli has done everything in his power to keep me safe and healthy throughout this procedure. His bedside manner may seem to some to be a little stiff, however, my mother felt that he had a wonderful sense of humor. I of course was more concerened with his surgical prowess. I remember that when I first came into his office and saw all of the awards that he had won, I remarked to my family that this doctor had more awards than God.

I am almost 6 months post-surgery. I spent 3 days in the hospital with no issues. My total weight loss is 104 lbs and I am 6 feet tall. Sr. Ferzli is a genius in getting you throught this fast with little or no complications. The follow through is good. However, due to the popularity of the doctor the meetings and support groups need to be in another venue that can support the large number of patients that need this support. Support specialty groups would be great.

Dr. Ferzli was very pleasant. His office staff was very helpful and knowledgable whenever I called in with questions, comments, or concers (which were quite a few). At the hospital the staff as well as Dr. Ferzli and his assistant who performed the surgery were kind, generous and made me feel comfortable and secure. I have nothing bad to say about Dr. Ferzli his staff and his surroundings. It was a pleasure and would recommend him to anyone who may come across his needing.

Dr. Ferzli has a lovely, gentle, mannerism when you first meet him. He is a very caring physican who wants the best for his patients. His office staff is also very caring and kind. I can't say that there is anything I don't like about Dr. Ferzli. For the few times that I have met him, he took the time to answer ALL my questions. The only thing is that when I was signing the final consent form Dr. Ferzli made it clear all of the consequences that could happen during and after the surgery which got me quite nervous. However, he reassured me and told me that he had to make me aware of \"what could happen\" but the likelihood was very slim if none at all. If I had to rate Dr. Ferzli I would give him a 10 out of 10. The surgery went well and thank goodness I have had no complications so far. I think that Dr. Ferzli's surgical competence and bedside manner are both superior. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering bariatric surgery or any type of surgery.

Dr. Ferzli related his knowledge well to me so that I may understand and have a clear picture of what my surgery would be like. He has a very nice \"bedside\" manner. The office has great furniture. He has a frienly and informative staff. Support groups played a major factor in my decision to have surgery with Dr. Ferzli. I would love to have observed a post-surgical only support group prior to my surgery especially if you do not go on-line in chat rooms for information.
